Israeli Songs
In 2025 Victor Birkan expanded his work into Israeli songwriting and collaborations with singers. His creative partnership with Nofar Margaliot led first to “Metorefet” and then to “Kol Kakh Harbe Milim”, bringing his classical musical language together with contemporary Israeli vocals and songwriting.

Behind the music
Victor and Nofar met through a music group on Facebook and had never met face to face. During a half-joking conversation, Victor sent her a short melody he had recorded spontaneously. Soon afterward Nofar returned with emotionally direct lyrics written from an immediate connection to the melody. That is how “Metorefet” was born — complete, authentic and unexpected.
Their collaboration then developed into an ongoing creative process: Victor sends original musical material and Nofar responds with words and vocal ideas, allowing a classical foundation and Israeli songwriting to meet naturally.
